Chestnut Class get Christingle ready!
This week has been a wonderfully busy one in Chestnut Class! The children have worked hard completing their quizzes in reading, writing, and maths, showing great determination and focus.
In maths, we began exploring the concept of area, learning how to count squares to measure space—a skill that everyone has enjoyed practising.
In writing, we continued our journey tale from Varjak’s perspective, with pupils showing creativity and imagination in bringing the story to life. Science lessons were hands-on and exciting as we constructed our own models of muscles and hands, helping us understand how our bodies move.
Alongside all this, Chestnut Class has been filling the classroom with music as we rehearse our singing in preparation for the upcoming Christingle Service. The children’s enthusiasm and teamwork have shone through in every activity, making it a fantastic week of learning and creativity.
