🌰 Chestnut Class Weekly Newsletter End of Term 3

We’ve had a truly wonderful final week of the half term in Chestnut Class. The children have been full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and kindness, making it a joy to learn together.

🌐 Internet Safety Day & Wellbeing Week This week, we took part in Internet Safety Day and Wellbeing Week. The children spent time thinking about how to stay safe online and how to look after their own wellbeing. We explored what it means to think positively about ourselves, celebrate our strengths, and support one another.

🎶 Friday Focus: Year 3 Ukulele Performance A huge well done to our Year 3 pupils, who were absolutely phenomenal during their Friday Focus ukulele performance. Their confidence, rhythm, and teamwork shone through—they should be incredibly proud of themselves.

📚 English In English, we continued learning the key parts of our warning tale. The children have been working hard to understand story structure, develop expressive language, and bring their narratives to life.

➗ Maths In Maths, we’ve been diving deeper into fractions, including exploring mixed numbers. The class has shown great perseverance and growing in confidence as they tackle new concepts.
