🌟 A Fantastic Start to the Term in Chestnut Class 🌟

What a wonderful first week back it has been! The children have immersed themselves straight back into their learning and have shown fantastic enthusiasm across the curriculum.

In English, we have begun exploring the epic tale of Beowulf, sparking curiosity about heroes, monsters and life in the past. In Maths, the children have been building their understanding of unit and non‑unit fractions, using practical activities to deepen their learning.Our History lessons have taken us back in time as we started learning about who the Anglo‑Saxons were, laying the foundations for our new topic. In Art, the classroom was buzzing with creativity as the children made their own Egyptian‑style paper, producing some fantastic results.It has certainly been a full‑on, busy week, made even better by the glorious sunshine—a brilliant start to the term!
